I feel a little like

I feel a little like a deejay now…just got a note from one of my favorite readers, who would like me to post a message to another favorite reader. So, by request: My friend is on vacation this week and I miss him desperately. He seems to be the only one who will listen to me talk nonchalantly about nothing… (more…)

Ahhh…ten hours of sleep following

Ahhh…ten hours of sleep following days of insomnia is soooo nice. Plus good dreams. I loved being a ghost. Being a superhero was even better. Then having an affair with–what the hell? George Clooney??? Yeeg. Not my type. But I suppose it’s better than Lyle Lovett.

Whoah, I was listening to

Whoah, I was listening to Bloodflowers when I peeked over at Fred’s place and got this depressing link.

Seriously, though, what the hell

Seriously, though, what the hell is “the system” anyway? The system isn’t some automaton, some runaway creation. It is a Trojan horse, and we are all inside of it. My vocabulary is less than expansive (read: I’m saying “fuck” a lot). I’m shambling down the hall like a 90-year-old mule. And I’m whining on my blog.… (more…)

So I was thinking about

So I was thinking about computer art, and how it is by definition created using a computer. Real-life art, on the other hand, is created in the real world. Live art can usually be displayed on a computer, but isn’t intended for it, and often loses something in the translation. Computer art can be printed out and displayed live…but it… (more…)

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. A little

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. A little long on the download when you’re dialed in, but worth the wait. Let’s face it, most bloggers are geeky white kids. Even those of us in our 30s are geeky white kids. I didn’t realize how stale the pale was until I ran into something different. Nena’s voice will wake you up. Go say hi.
