The Myth of Fingerprints

I admit I only rented this because I was hankering for more David Bridie music, and he did the soundtrack with John Phillips. There should be an entire genre named “troubled family meets for the holidays”. In this case, Thanksgiving. Nothing new. Solid if unremarkable performances. I got a few laughs, but was unable to emotionally engage in this bit of movie formula.

    Dear Cat,

What a site! Gorgeous, informative, and how long
did it take you to prepare it? It truly is
film heaven…even a retired person could
spend wondrous hours going through everything!
    Keep up the good work!

One observation, that maybe you know…my husband
Elliott loves that Liz Holt, (Gia Carides) from
Strictly Ballroom. She, (Gia, in real life) is
married to Anthony LaPaglia of Lantana, which we
went to see because we try to see anything Aussie
these days. He always seems so forlorn in his
roles and his photographs, while she is such
    a scream!

Tara will be appearing in her play, Spinning Into
Butter the first week in May, until late June.

She certainly is not well known in the U.S. After Strictly Ballroom, she and Paul were victims
of poor career choices…when I think of how hot
Rachel Griffiths and Toni Collete are in the
industry today, it pains me, for Tara has as much
versatility as those two, and others. Maybe things will pick up for her after Hildegarde the Duck is released…it seems to have disappeared!

Cheers, (and may we have something to cheer about
    with the Oscars!)
